women of Sonoran Sounds
prepare for the 2012-2013 season! With a passion for singing and a
willingness to be challenged, a variety of choral literature
is prepared and performed in two, four or six parts. Repertoire
includes selections from jazz, classical, sacred, folk, gospel, movie
and Broadway favorites.
was founded in 2003 by Dr. James Flom where technical accuracy and
ensemble unity were developed. In 2007, Clarence Doornbos was
welcomed to direct the group. Under his leadership, the group
is refining its musicianship and establishing a reputation as a
and accomplished women’s chorale.
Two program seasons are planned each year
with four to six performances scheduled throughout the Northwest
Valley. Sonoran Sounds
